What We Do
Caring for the vulnerable
Umurame Ministries takes care of the vulnerable living in the neighborhood. In this picture, a member of Umurame Ministries, represents the organization had visited a widow, talked to her, took good care of her and brought to her the basic items for food, and hygiene
Supporting Street Kids
Children born of prostitutes/single mothers are homeless, they are street kids, they call themselves “ Marines” and they live on banditry, garbage, …Umurame Ministries clothes them, feeds them, take them out of the streets and connects them with their families.
Vocational training
Umurame Ministries started a tailoring school to help boys and girls who dropped out of the school and wish to do a vocational training. Among the beneficiaries of the school are also the teens mothers with children who need special care as well.
Caring for care to hospitalized sick people with no care givers.
Members of Umurame Ministries visit the sick at the hospital and bring them food and other basic items for their physical needs, they talk to them, they serve as their care givers and they help them recover their hope, particularly those with incurable diseases.
Teaching and promoting unity, reconciliation and peace culture
Umurame Ministries has promoted the culture of unity, peace and reconciliation and living in harmony with one another in families with constant and continuous hatred and conflicts that prevent them a sustainable development Alphonse brought together people of all sorts of life and taught them the culture of putting together their resources, to work together in unison, to live in peace with one another aiming at a family sustainable development.
